Originally from the Ukraine where Alana practiced as a naval architect . She has been living in Ireland for 24 years . Her education includes (2007) Attended Brian Byrne School of Painting. (2008) Life drawing with Sohoko Blake. (2009/2010) Still Life Master classes with David Laffel in Los Angles (2012) Master Classes at Academy of Fine Art , Florence. (2023) Modern Art Forms Ines Hildur , Germany. She has exhibited solo shows in 2007 / 2013. Often working on private commissions. Her practice stemmed from traditional painting to now a practice of abstraction and experimentation of mixed mediums. Wilton Gallery is pleased to present in our upcoming exhibition 'Continuum' with work by Alana Lavery, and 'Fusion now shown at 56 Glasthule Road, Sandycove from 13 February 2025.
