Jeremy Houghton is a highly established artist in residence. With twenty years of experience, Jeremy has produced bodies of work for a plethora of highly regarded institutions and establishments, from Wimbledon to Windsor. Whilst he was teaching art in Cape Town, South Africa, Jennifer Oppenheimer used his art to raise money and awareness of the plight of the flamingo. His African studio soon became a mud hut just outside Kimberley's diamond country where indigenous conservation is an Oppenheimer and de Beers priority. Thanks to their generous patronage, solo exhibitions at the Everard Read Gallery in Johannesburg and the Saatchi Gallery in London followed and his first 'Think Pink' portfolio flew into the limelight. His work will feature in a group exhibition 'Continuum' which will shown at 46- 48 Pembroke Road, Ballsbridge, Co Dublin, on 20 September 2024 - 12 October 2024. To coincide with this exhibition, we will be releasing Jeremy in Conversation with Mia Wilson as part of Artistic Voices.
