Nicky Kruseman is an Irish mixed media painter, having worked in New York and studied at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin and at L’ecole des Art Decoratifs in Paris she is currently based in Co. Wicklow. Kruseman has exhibited across Ireland and runs workshop classes in her studio for fellow artists, teaching technical skills. Her work tackles a broad scope of subjects with distinctive flair, from moody landscapes to introspective still life art. The diverse range in her artwork results from her fascination with the familiar. Everyday still life subjects and the coastal scenery by her house inspire her to capture her experiences in visual form. Her collections are unified by their ability to manifest our personal relationship to the scenery and items which surround us.
