Hazel O'Sullivan is an ever-evolving multi-disciplinary visual artist working in Ireland and the UK. She graduated from NCAD (2021) with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art (International) with Critical Cultures, First Class Honours. Upon completing her Erasmus at the Academy of Fine Arts Münster (Kunstakademie), Germany (2020), she was awarded a first-class degree with Honours. O’Sullivan has since been exhibiting widely, acquiring a transnational repertoire. O’Sullivan’s artwork explores modernism and domesticity through a stylistic retro-futuristic lens. Her use of mathematical and architectural perspectives analyses space, particularly regarding our perception of the private sphere. As such, she interrogates the barrier between interior and exterior. Throughout her artwork she equips a range of mediums, allowing her to confront and dissect the themes she tackles through the means they warrant.
