Wilton Gallery is pleased to announce 'Introspective' by Danish artist Allan Madsen. This is an exhibition of a new series of paintings, through the Wilton Gallery. As a contemporary artist, Madsen explores the Japanese concept of Ma. He offers an artistic interpretation of emptiness that focuses on the intention of negative space within an artwork and its value to the motifs it surrounds. His practice is anchored in superb command in draughtsmanship rooted in classical tradition and inspired by the Dutch Masters, Vermeer, and Rembrandt.
